SUBSCRIPTION:
In order to use RedRoller.com, you must first create an account with us, including a unique username and password, and subscribe to our service. During the sign-up process you are required to give us your contact information, including your name, address, telephone number, and e-mail address, as well as a password hint to help you remember your password. You must also provide credit card and other billing related information, including Carrier account numbers, for payments at sign-up. We use this information to establish your personal identification and bill you for services from RedRoller.com. In addition, we may contact you for customer service, if necessary, and to solicit feedback to make product improvements to RedRoller. Your e-mail address is collected to send you an e-mail message confirming your Subscription and each shipment or other purchase you process on RedRoller.com. You will also receive two additional e-mails upon signing up to inform you of features and benefits on RedRoller.com and tips and advice. As a Subscriber you will also occasionally receive updates from us about new features and services available on RedRoller.com, special offers and other news from RedRoller. You may always decline to receive these e-mail messages. Please see our opt-out policy described below.
OTHER POINTS WHERE WE COLLECT YOUR INFORMATION:
RedRoller is the sole owner of the information collected on RedRoller.com, and RedRoller collects personally identifiable information from our Subscribers at several different points on our website.
PROCESSING SHIPMENTS:
When you process shipments on RedRoller.com, we request certain personally identifiable information from you in order to process your order. We also use the credit card or other billing information you have provided to direct the underlying Carrier to bill you for the services you order. We use this information for billing purposes and to fill your orders. If we have trouble processing an order, we will use the information provided in your Subscriber profile to contact you.
SUBSCRIBER PROFILE AND ADDRESS BOOK:
RedRoller.com Subscribers can choose to provide RedRoller with additional credit cards and other billing and payment information, ship from addresses, personal address books, and other personal information. This information is primarily used to assist members in processing shipments quickly without having to type in the same information repeatedly. In addition, we store information that we collect through cookies and log files to create a profile of your preferences. We tie your personally identifiable information and your purchasing history to information in the profile, in order to provide tailored promotions and marketing offers and to improve the content of the site for you.
SURVEYS AND/OR CONTESTS:
RedRoller values opinions and comments from our Subscribers, and we frequently conduct online surveys. Typically, the information is collected and evaluated to make improvements to RedRoller.com, including developing new features and services as well as improving existing content, features and services. Survey participants are anonymous unless otherwise stated in the survey. In addition, from time to time, RedRoller may provide you the opportunity to participate in contests on our site. If you participate in either a survey or contest on RedRoller.com, we will request certain personally identifiable information from you. USAGE TRACKING:
RedRoller.com tracks user traffic patterns throughout all of our sites. We do not, however, correlate this information with data about individual Subscribers. RedRoller may break down overall usage statistics according to each user's domain name and browser type by reading this information from the browser string (information contained in every user's browser).
COOKIES:
A cookie is a small text file that is stored on a Subscriber's computer for record-keeping purposes, and, in order to use RedRoller.com, you must have cookies enabled on your web browser. RedRoller uses cookies primarily to track your activity on RedRoller.com. We use this information for customer service purposes and to improve our services. We use both session ID cookies and persistent cookies. We use session cookies to make it easier for you to navigate our site. A session ID cookie expires when you close your browser. IP ADDRESSES:
RedRoller collects Internet Protocol (”IP”) addresses to help diagnose problems with our servers and for system administration and fraud-detection purposes. Please be aware that we have links to other websites on our site that may collect personally identifiable information about you. This Privacy Policy does not cover the information practices or policies of such websites.
CHILDREN:
Consistent with the Federal Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (COPPA), we will never knowingly request personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13 without requesting and obtaining parental consent prior thereto.
TRACKING GIFS:
Our third-party advertising partner(s) employ a software technology called tracking gifs that help us better manage content on our site by informing us what content is effective. Tracking gifs are tiny graphics with a unique identifier, similar in function to cookies, and are used to track the online movements of Internet users. In contrast to cookies, which are stored on a user's computer hard drive, tracking gifs are embedded invisibly on web pages and are about the size of the period at the end of this sentence. We do not tie the information gathered by tracking gifs to our Subscribers personally identifiable information.
LOG FILES:
As is true of most websites, we gather certain information automatically and store it in log files. This information includes IP addresses, browser type, Internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, and clickstream data. We use this information, which does not identify individual Subscribers, to analyze trends, administer the site, track users' movements around the site, and gather demographic information about our Subscriber base as a whole. We do not link this automatically collected data to personally identifiable information.
EBAY ACCOUNT INFORMATION:
RedRoller.com is an eBay Compatible Application, and RedRoller collects and stores eBay usernames and tokens that are generated to communicate with eBay's Application Programming Interfaces (APIs). RedRoller also collects any relevant shipping information including: Destination Address, Package Type, Weight, Dimensions, Item and Transaction IDs, and Carrier Shipping Prices. Your election to enable this eBay functionality on RedRoller.com is entirely voluntary, and at no time do RedRoller or our employees have access to your eBay account information. INFORMATION SHARING WITH THIRD PARTIES:
We share personally identifiable information when you purchase products and services through RedRoller.com. When you process shipments on RedRoller.com, we provide information about you to the Carrier and to any other involved third party (such as an insurance provider) to ensure the successful fulfillment of your shipping order. You will be notified when your personal information is collected by any third party that is not our affiliate/agent/service provider, so you can make an informed choice as to whether or not to share your information with that party. We do not sell individual customer names or other private profile information to third parties and have no intention of doing so in the future.
